Diamond Polishing Pads With Different Grits

Seven particle size numbers of diamond polishing pads which are 50#, 100#, 200#, 400#, 800#, 1500#, 3000# are conventional polishing pads in the stone processing industry, also called the basic particle size. 1.50-400# diamond polishing pads

Diamond polishing pads of these particle sizes are all using abrasive particles to cut away minerals on the surface of the stone, and the grinding effect is dominant. It is used for leveling during grinding. Relying on rough abrasives, the height difference can be quickly flattened and ready for the next stage.

2.800# diamond polishing pads

This type of diamond polishing pad is quite special. It is the preparatory polishing stage. It serves as a link between the previous and the next, giving a finishing to the front grinding process and a beginning to the back filling process. So it is a complex of "grinding effect & filling effect". The two functions exist at the same time.

3.1500-3000# diamond polishing pads

Diamond polishing pads of these particle sizes are mainly based on the release of resin in the polishing pads for filling process to form high gloss. The filling effect is dominant, and the grinding effect is still there, but it is very weak.
